Yarn & Fiber Care

All hand dyed yarn and fiber braids are processed using professional acid dyes, however some may still bleed in hot/warm water or upon first washing. Certain colors are especially prone to this (neons, turquoise, reds). Please always wash hand dyed yarn and fiber in cold water and do not soak. We do not suggest using any type of wool wash without first doing a spot check, as some specific brands of wool wash are known to cause bleeding with hand dyed yarn. While we do use Superwash yarn for the vast majority of our hand dyed yarns, we still recommend laying your finished items flat to dry to protect the lifespan of your item.
